“During your journey with Appwrite, you’ve undoubtedly witnessed the extraordinary efforts of individuals who have made a tremendous impact on the community. These outstanding contributors have created comprehensive tutorials, built innovative applications, offered exceptional support, and made valuable code contributions. Their dedication and expertise have been instrumental in the rapid growth and success of Appwrite.
To express our gratitude and support your continued efforts, Appwrite community excited to introduce the Appwrite Hero Program. This initiative aims to recognize and empower exceptional individuals like yourself who have played a pivotal role in the community.
Selected as an Appwrite Hero, you will receive exclusive benefits and resources. You will be prominently featured on Appwrite website and official channels, showcasing your expertise and contributions. As an Appwrite Hero, you will have access to early releases, participate in beta testing programs, and receive personalized support from our team.
Additionally, as an Appwrite Hero, you will be invited to exclusive events, webinars, and workshops, providing you with opportunities to network with like-minded individuals and expand your knowledge. You will also have the chance to collaborate directly with the Appwrite team, influencing the future direction of the platform and contributing to its ongoing development.
I encourage you to nominate individuals who have made notable contributions to the Appwrite ecosystem. Whether they have created exceptional content, developed impactful solutions, provided outstanding support, or contributed high-quality code, we want to celebrate their achievements and recognize their invaluable role in our vibrant community.
The Appwrite Hero Program is our way of saying ‘thank you’ to exceptional individuals like yourself who continue to make a difference. Together, we can empower and inspire each other to push the boundaries of what’s possible with Appwrite.”
This is why it’s our great pleasure to announce to you all the Appwrite Heroes program!
To be selected as an Appwrite Hero, you must be an active contributor in the Appwrite community, which includes (but is not limited to):
- Speaking about Appwrite at events (podcasts, hackathons, meetups, conferences, etc.)
- Helping community members with their queries in the Appwrite Discord server
- Participating in Appwrite-relevant discussions on social media and external forums such as GitHub, StackOverflow, Reddit, etc.
- Actively contributing to Appwrite’s open-source repositories
- Creating written or video content educating about Appwrite
- Building projects with Appwrite.
Being a Appwrite Hero does have some perks as well:
- Direct access to Appwrite’s core team: Appwrite Heroes will have the opportunity to interact directly with the core team, allowing for valuable discussions, feedback, and collaboration.
- Invite to an in-person gathering (for top contributors): Top contributors may receive an exclusive invitation to an in-person gathering, providing them with an opportunity to meet fellow community members and Appwrite team members.
- Exclusive digital badge: Appwrite Heroes will receive a unique digital badge that can be proudly displayed on platforms like Discord and LinkedIn, showcasing their status as an Appwrite Hero.
- Beta-testing privileges: Appwrite Heroes will have the chance to beta-test Appwrite releases, gaining early access to new features and providing feedback to help shape the future of the platform.
- Exclusive Appwrite Heroes swag: Heroes will receive special Appwrite-branded merchandise as a token of appreciation for their contributions.
- Free cloud credits: Upon request, Appwrite Heroes may be granted free cloud credits, allowing them to utilize Appwrite’s cloud services without cost.
- Exclusive promotions: Appwrite Heroes will receive exclusive promotions of their content and events on Appwrite’s social media accounts and newsletters, providing increased visibility to their work.
- Recognition as a Hero: Appwrite Heroes will be officially recognized as Heroes in the Appwrite community, with dedicated profiles featured on the official Appwrite website.
- Exclusive role on Discord server: Heroes will have an exclusive role on the Appwrite Discord server, providing them with a distinct presence and access to specialized channels.
- Special access to roadmap and demos: Appwrite Heroes will enjoy special access to a more in-depth roadmap and receive invitations to internal demo days, allowing them to stay informed about upcoming features and provide valuable input.
- Event sponsorship: Depending on their activity level, Appwrite Heroes may be eligible for sponsorship of events they organize, offering support and resources to make their events successful.
- Travel support for conferences: On a case-by-case basis, Appwrite may provide travel support for Heroes to speak at developer conferences, helping them share their expertise and represent the Appwrite community.
These perks demonstrate Appwrite’s commitment to nurturing and empowering its community Heroes, recognizing their contributions, and providing them with valuable opportunities to grow both personally and professionally.
